If youve only gotten into sneakers over the last three years, securing pairs at retail may seem luckier than winning the lottery. The Swoosh is seemingly playing into this common frustration with the release of the Nike
Dunk Low Lottery duo.
At quick glance, the upcoming two pairs of late Peter Moores design dont deviate much from the formula thats made the Nike Dunk one of the most versatile option on the footwear market since 1985. Closer inspection, however, reveals special design cues for the fortune-themed makeovers. Logos on the top of the tongue and sock-liners are stylized as slot machine graphics, adding some personality to the otherwise predominantly green and grey arrangements found between both Dunks. What drives the Lottery concept home, however, is the coin-like hang tags that can be utilized to scratch off paint from the profile swooshes, revealing a playful series of graphics sure to make anyone lucky enough to get a W to revel in that feeling for a little while longer.
